At Josmar Acres, we grow a number of different strawberry varieties to extend this delicious summer season from end of May-beginning of August. As well, we grow raspberries and they are available from end of June-August. Unfortunately our soil type is not suitable for blueberries and thus we bring these delicious anti-oxidant gems from our farmer friends at Pleasant Berry Farm in Mount Pleasant.
We have our strawberries available in 1 quart, 2 quart and 6 quart quantities. During our u-pick season we offer 3lt and 6 quart baskets to pick in. Our raspberries are available for sale in pints; either singly or by the flat. Ask for our Berry 6-pack! Usually available in July, this is a great way to enjoy Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries. At Josmar Acres, we have also ship to a number of local Metro and Sobeys stores. So in June and early July, look for Josmar Berries at your favourite grocery store.
Our family farm grows a number of other fruit and vegetable crops including; 20+ apple varieties, pears, plums, peaches, sweet corn, green + yellow beans, tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, and of course our popular strawberries and raspberries. We are a one-stop shop in season with local produce from our farmer friends close by. This means we will have everything LOCAL from A-Z. Also you can find, local meats, dairy, pies, tarts and preserves in our farm market.
Yes! We do take credit cards and also offer debit. This includes our u-pick tent.
Dogs are allowed in our parking areas. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pet, please. No dogs allowed in our store due to food safety regulations. As well, we cannot have dogs in our u-pick patch. Thank you for understanding.
We have fresh picked Josmar strawberries available in our home market. You will also find them in local Metro and Sobeys stores in the Hamilton, Brantford, Burlington, Dundas, Oakville and Mississauga areas.
